Sticky Bibs reusable baby bibs

2shea has helped develop artwork and packaging for a great new product called Sticky Bibs, which are self-stick, reusable and disposable baby bibs. The bibs are soft, absorbent, and gently stick onto your child’s shirt and stay put with a pressure sensitive adhesive. Since Sticky Bibs secures every single inch of your bib to clothing, there’s no tie around hassles to put up with and no pull over mess. Sticky Bibs are made in the USA and are the brainchild of our dear friend Stan who lives right here in Ohio! We couldn’t be more proud!

2Shea created the super cute illustrations for the bibs as well as the packaging for this wonderful product which is now available for sale on www.stickybibs.com and Amazon.com.

Go Rams!

<div class=\"postavatary\">Go Rams!</div>

Congratulations to my Alma Mater VCU Rams on making the Final Four despite being a heavy underdog all tournament long! I know this is going to be one crazy week in Richmond. Even if they advance no further, it has been one great ride for the basketball team! Good luck the rest of the way!

Cursed Pirate Girl: “Our Generation’s Alice in Wonderland”

A good friend of mine from art school is going to be releasing a collected edition of his 3 very awe-inspiring comic books—Cursed Pirate Girl. His name is Jeremy Bastian and he’s one of the most crazy-talented and creative people I know. I remember being so jealous of him in art school because he wouldn’t start to work on his projects until very late at night. I would be freaking out wondering when he would begin, and he would very calmly say, “Relax Alison, I’ll get it done.” And of course he would come into class the next day with the most detailed drawing that I figure he worked on until 4AM!
If you imagine the most intricate drawing you’ve ever seen, then multiple it by 100, that’s what Jeremy’s work looks like. And if you think I’m biased because he’s a friend, then you should read the amazing reviews that others have for his work. Mike Mignola, creator of Hellboy, Jackson Publick, creator of The Venture Brothers, David Petersen, Eisner Award winning creator of Mouse Guard, just to name a few, are huge fans of his.
Please read more about Cursed Pirate Girl here: http://kck.st/aFB7TF
Unfortunately, the video doesn’t do his artwork justice, so if you get a chance, please pledge on Kickstarter to get your own copy of Cursed Pirate Girl which is being touted as “Our Generation’s Alice in Wonderland.”

Very funny animation for cat lovers

<div class=\"postavatary\">Very funny animation for cat lovers</div>

Great series of creative animation shorts on YouTube that my son directed me to. The series is called “Simon’s Cat”, created by Simon Tofield, a professional animator in England. Really well done and hilarious. Evidently becoming very popular as there is now a Simon’s Cat book. Here is the link to the shorts on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/simonscat?blend=1&ob=4. There is also a neat short video featuring the animator demonstrating his creative process on the Simon’s Cat website: www.simonscat.com
