Today, the 2Shea team took a self-defense class courtesy of Kristi Morris. We recently designed a new website for Kristi’s PR/Marketing firm. In exchange, Kristi helped us to create a new marketing plan, plus a super bonus, she instructed us in a self defense class. Yes, Kristi is a woman of all trades, not only is she a marketing and PR expert, she is also a black-belt in Tae Kwon Do and a kick-butt self-defense instructor. So, what did we learn today. We learned how to throw a punch, what to do when someone grabs you from behind, and… Don’t ever mess with our designer Alison, she may seem quiet and shy, but she’s one tough cookie!

Our designers Jessie & Amanda have been giving back to the community by volunteering to paint a mural for Discovery Riders. Discovery Riders, Inc., is a non-profit, therapeutic equestrian learning and riding experience in Logan County, Ohio, for young people with special emotional needs, communication disorders, physical challenges and/or learning disabilities.
Jessie & Amanda designed the mural in a “cartoonish” style to appeal to the kids in the Discovery Riders program. This mural will brighten up the viewing room in the barn, where the families watch their children participate in the program.
2Shea is also donating the artwork used in the mural to redesign the Discovery Rider’s website.
