Lost Color Photos Found

Whether interested in photography or history, you have to check this out! Color photos taken in Russian over 100 years ago by the Czar’s official photographer Sergy Mikhaylovich Prokudin-Gorsky have been discovered. We are so used to seeing photos of this point in history in black and white that it is something of a shock to see these pictures. It makes the subjects seem more real and alive, as if the photos were taken yesterday. Of special note is the beauty of the clothing that the people wear.
